My wife, Chantelle, has been bugging me for a while to do some sort of new website design for her online shop SixthAndElm.
I had thought about it for a while now and since most of the work that she does is wood burning, I wanted to have that represented some way in some icons or logo. I first was doodling in my sketch book some time back a logo mark that combined the letters of her store or name.. and ended up with a leaf looking logo that fits perfectly into the scheme of her work.. A big 6, with a small E at the bottom turning into a half & symbol.. all looking like a leaf and voila, what you see.
I haven’t started any sort of design for her site but I think I know what direction I want to go, but who knows, in a week or so time I probably will have gotten side tracked again and completely change my mind.. again.
